Quilt covers of different materials require different cleaning methods.
There are many kinds of quilt cover materials in hotel linen. For different materials, we have different quilt cover cleaning methods, so how do you clean the quilt cover?
Cleaning of quilt covers
The all-cotton fabric has strong alkali resistance and good high-temperature resistance. Therefore, the hotel can choose a wide range of soaps or detergents when cleaning the cotton quilt cover. Soak the duvet cover in soapy water or washing powder for about 10 to 15 minutes before washing. After washing the quilt, it can be dehydrated to dryness during spin-drying.
Cleaning of cotton and linen fiber duvet cover
Some homestays and specialty hotels often choose cotton and linen quilt covers. Cotton and linen fibers are hard and have poor cohesion. When washing, they are lighter than cotton. Do not use hard brushes or rubbing hard to avoid fluffing on the fabric. Try to avoid twisting hard after washing. Colored fabrics should not be scalded with hot water to avoid color fading.
cleaning of polyester quilt cover
When washing the quilt cover in the hotel, soak it in cold water for about 15 minutes, and then put it in the washing machine. Use general synthetic detergent when washing. The temperature of the washing liquid should not exceed 45℃. The dirty part of the duvet cover can be gently scrubbed with a brush.
Dry the duvet cover correctly
Avoid exposure to the sun when drying the quilt cover to prevent some fabrics from fading. Shake the washed quilt flat and place it in a cool and ventilated place to dry, and iron it reasonably to ensure the flat and comfortable quilt cover.
